Ways of using hidden System API
When developing their devices, a vendor may need to interact with a hidden system API. An example of such a task would be reacting to Window flags in third-party applications to hide or show the assistant's system shutter as if it were a Navigation Bar.
In this talk, you will learn about the ways to use the Android API hidden from the developer, each of which we tested in SberDevices. You will learn about the pros and cons of each. You will also understand why any developer who uploads applications to the Play Market cannot just take and repeat the steps from this talk.
